Black Heart Bakery & Café is located in the village of Culdaff on the Inishowen Peninsula, just a short drive from its beautiful golden sandy beach.
Jenny specialises in creating the most indulgent cupcakes, muffins and sandwiches! Many of the recipes have have been handed down through generations of family bakers, such as her Granny Doherty's Apple Tart, and traditional wheaten Bocan Bread.
If you'd like a spot of lunch after a walk on the beach, or a cosy corner to catch up with friends over a cuppa and a slice of cake, the Black Heart Bakery & Café is waiting for you.
Weekend Menu
The menu changes often, but here is a sample of what to expect:
"Vegan falafel rolls, meaty sausage rolls, brownies, cakes, sandwiches, jams, chutneys, seasonal soup, Guinness bread, gluten free & vegan options always. I like to change flavours with the seasons and try to make things a little different." - Jenny.

Home-made sausage rolls.
Croque Madame
Home cooked ham, French cheese, bechamel, toasted til melted, with a fried egg on top, served with salad.
The Paris Special
Roast chicken, sunblush tomato, basil, mozzarella, parmesan, Dijonaise, on 'Blistered Bread' sourdough, toasted til melty.
Vegan Falafel Roll
Served with salad & hummus.

Home-cooked ham & cheddar cheese, with Filligan's Mustard.

Apple butter, cheddar cheese, Jenny's pickled veggies, spring mayo on toasted batch bread.
